At Cristianos we believe in ethical and professional practice and your well-being is our major concern, before you can make a choice with regard to having or not having treatment and indeed to whom you entrust your treatment and care you must be given the relevant information upon which to base your decision.
The desire to improve our appearance is completely natural. How we look can have a real impact on how we feel about ourselves, significantly raising or lowering our self confidence. Many people, including many celebrities, take advantage of non- surgical cosmetic treatments to stay looking younger and enhance their attractiveness.
Non-surgical, cosmetic treatments are a real option for enhancing your appearance. Using the finest methods and product like Softline you can achieve real appearance enhancements that work from within the skin. These treatments have proven effects for reducing the appearance of lines, wrinkles and providing real added shape and definition to facial features.
Sign of ageing narrowing lips and unsightly hair can be disheartening, detracting from an otherwise attractive appearance. Traditional approaches such as moisturiser's or make up are limited in their ability to camouflage or conceal these signs. Sometimes the application of excessive make up, to hide lines and wrinkles or broaden the outline of the lips, actually makes people look worse. There is nothing more unattractive than looking caked in make-up.
You can restore the youthful appearance, tone and suppleness of your skin by treating the facial signs of ageing – lines, folds and wrinkles, including
Treatments are long-lasting but not permanent; you will require maintenance, the frequency of which differs between individuals.

Dr. Wong and his team believe in ethical and professional practice and your well-being is our major concern. Before you can make a choice about whether or not to have treatment and indeed to whom you entrust your treatment and care you must be given the relevant and accurate information upon which to base your decision.
The treatment involves extremely precise injection of the Botox® fluid into the muscles of the face. We can offer local anesthetic gel to reduce the sensation of the injection. We only utilise single-use fine disposable syringes and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
The treatment can be applied to one or more areas of the face depending on your individual needs. Immediately after treatment there maybe slight bruising / swelling/ redness at injection site. You may experience nausea/ headache for a short period and usually resolves within a few hours.
In our clinic Dr. Samuel Wong always conducts this procedure. He is an experienced dental surgeon who is familiar with giving injections to the head and face. He has special interest in cosmetic dentistry and is very aware of how important the muscles of the face work together with a nice smile to give a pleasing appearance.
The effect of Botox® is to relax the facial muscle, which has the effect of reducing frowns etc. The effect is temporary and last for approximately 2-6 months, when the effects of the injection will gradually reduce. The follow up treatments will be advised.
As with any aesthetic procedure there are, of course, risks and we would not be fulfilling our obligation to provide the highest quality of treatment and care if we do not make you fully aware. On rare occasion, people have reported temporary, excessive weakness of the treated muscle and drooping of the eyebrow or upper eyelid may occur. On very rare occasions you may have an allergic reaction, or brief visual disturbances.
Each client is individual and no two clients requirements are ever the same. In cases where the skin lacks elasticity there are limitations to the effectiveness of treatment. Dr. Wong will discuss your individual needs with you and give you guidance on your specific needs.
We would not recommend Botox® treatment for clients who are pregnant or breast feeding, or who have neuromuscular disorders/ myasthenia Gravis/ Eaton Lambert Syndrome, have any blood coagulation disorders or taking anticoagulants. Clients who currently take aminoglycoside antibiotics, spectimomycin or muscle relaxants are also not suitable.
We do not recommend the use of chemical peels for clients who are undergoing treatment with Botox®. If you are considering any facial beauty treatments you must seek advice from the team members.
Should you have any questions you wish to ask or further information you would like before making your decision with regard to treatment, please ask. We are here to give you the very best professional advice and guidance.
It is important that you adhere to the advice given for post-treatment care because those instructions are given for your comfort and to maximise the effect of your treatment. |
