Hello,

I started treatment last September for facial hair removal at the clinic in Altrincham. When I was younger I was very lucky and I didn't have any stubble till my mid 20s. My skin's very pale and when it did sprout it was very dark, very upsetting! As i got older it got thicker and when the transexuality became unbearable as it does this was my biggest worry - the desperate Debbie look - yuck. Going out felt like it was a time bomb ticking away as the shadow would grow through the make up, I hated it. Anyway I heard about laser treatment, so I made an appointment for a test patch, which led to me starting treatment. In all honesty I probably was quite difficult to deal with as ive spent so much time alone away from people and i found having someone up close very intrusive.

The first session I had, half way through I burst into tears, it was quite an emotional moment and I felt so daft. All I can say is that I am so glad that I went for treatment here, everyone was very kind and very understanding and I was allowed to go at my own pace which for me was very important, even if it meant taking a bit longer.

Now after twelve months I'm virtually hair free and I'm so glad I did it. My skin's smooth and that vile darkness is virtually gone. Having the laser treatment has given me so much more confidence and i feel so much better in myself.
