Treatment Details:

Suzanne:

Suzanne first came to the clinic for consultation in Feb 2000. Her hair was black and perfect for treatment, but her Greek parentage meant her olive skin would need extra care and attention. This possible meant a higher risk of having a skin reaction than would have been if she were pale skinned. An added complication was Suzanne had been prescribed Pemarin, which is a medication that can sometimes make the skin photosensitive. We took this into consideration and proceeded slowly, which meant we didn't treat her full-face until the end of March 2000. Our approach paid off and Suzanne had very little skin reaction to laser. The hair reduced quickly. It is not unusual for the upper lip to be a little more stubborn than the remainder of the face, but Suzanne stuck with it and as you can see from her results it has made the world of difference. Suzanne had 14 full-face treatments and 5 supplementary one's to clear the more persistent areas. She also embarked on a course of treatment in preparation for reassignment surgery.
